1 lb. ground Turkey 1 egg 1 piece of Gluten free bread (toasted) 1 packet of Twisted Chicken seasoning 1/4 cup chopped onion Sliced pepper jack cheese 1 red bell pepper 1 orange bell Pepper 1/2 red onion Olive oil Salt pepper Gluten free bread (bottom bun) Lettuce (top bun)
Toast the gluten free bread, while the bread is being toasted combine the ground turkey meat, egg, seasoning, and onions. When bread is done combine with the turkey meat. Using your hands make 3”-4” turkey patties about 3/4” thick. Place patties in fridge to chill. Slice the bell peppers and the red onion. Place peppers and onion in a bowl. Mix them with olive oil, salt and pepper. When finished start grilling them in a grilling basket. Take the patties from the fridge and start grilling them as well. When patties are finished top with cheese. Place patties on a piece of toasted gluten free bread, top with grilled veggies and lettuce. Tapatio optional 👍😊 Enjoy!
Chicken Fried Tofu- Elijah Zalvidar
(served with mashed potatoes and grilled lemon asparagus) For all the vegetarians and vegans out there!
Ingredients: Chicken fried tofu • Extra firm tofu • flour (can replace with gluten free) • eggs (can use soy milk to make vegan) • Panko bread crumbs • Chicken seasoning (or marinade, yes it vegan!) • salt • pepper • chilli powder • garlic powder • thyme
Directions: Rub on a thin layer of oil on all the meat to be grilled. Mix, salt, pepper and garlic powder and sprinkle desired amount onto both sides of the steak and chicken. Let rest for 10-15 minutes.
Boil 12 cups of water for Macaroni with 1 tbsp of cooking oil and 1/4 tsp of salt if desired. Add noodles and simmer on medium to low to 10-12 minutes.
Preheat grill to 350-375 degrees.
Grill steak to desired rarity and chicken to no higher than 155 degrees internal temperature. (Carry over heat will complete cooking for the meats).
Remove meat and lightly tent with aluminium foil.
Check noodles for desired texture (al dente for myself) and strain.
Return strained noodles to pot and add cheese mixture and 2 sticks of butter. Do not add milk as box directions suggest. Butter will thicken the cheese mix and make for creamier sauce.
Remove Texas Toast slices from box and place them on the still warm grill, cheese side up.
Toast the bread for 5-10 minutes and remove.
Serve up and enjoy!
"Fake" Pot Roast- Christina White
I decided to make “Fake pot roast” from “Food Wars” anime. Which is bacon wrapped onto the potato. Ingredients: 6 white potatoes. -1 large white onion, or 2 medium white onions. -1 sprig of rosemary. -Butter. I suggest 2 tablespoons (30ml), but you could always used a bit more. -2 packs of thick-cut bacon. -1 Cup, or 250ml of red wine. We used a Pinot Noir since its preferable for cooking but that’s totally up to you. -1/4 cup, or 60ml of sake. Any sake that is labeled as “sweet” should do. (Optional) -2 tbs, or 30ml of soy sauce. -1 spring of parsley or any garnish. I also added soy sauce to the fried corn, onions, red bell peppers and also added broccoli as well for a side dish
