"Steptember" is a health and wellness challenge with your coworkers to help promote a more active lifestyle and add a little friendly competition along the way! Here’s how it works;
The challenge will last for 4 weeks, starting on Monday, September 4th, and ending on Sunday, October 1st
Your challenge is to earn at least 8,500 steps per day for the month of September.
Weekly Raffles: Each day you get at least 8,500 steps you will receive one entry into a weekly raffle (Maximum of 7 entries per week). Weekly raffle winners will receive a gift card.More active days = more chances to win.
How to join: Steps will be tracked by using your own step app on your phone, Fitbit, Pedometer, or activity tracker and synced to the EveryMove app. (EveryMove is a free cross platform app that syncs with most popular step and activity trackers such as Apple Health, Fitbit, Run Keeper, Strava, etc.)

Sync your favorite fitness apps from your phone or manually log your activities
Get out there and start walking, hiking, running, or anything to gain steps
Rules: Weekly raffles will be drawn on Mondays. All steps for the previous week must be logged and synced with EveryMove by 8:00 a.m. Monday morning in order to receive credit.
Week 1: 9/4 – 9/10
Week 2: 9/11 – 9/17
Week 3: 9/18 – 9/24
Week 4: 9/25 – 10/1
The intent of this challenge is to promote a healthier well-being for all participants and the primary reward is designed to be challenging yourself to be more active, the prizes are viewed only as secondary fun incentives. Any participants found to be acting against the spirit of the challenge (cheating) will be removed from the challenge.
These recreational activities/events have been made available to you by Magic Mountain for your enjoyment. Your participation in these activities/events is completely voluntary. Your employer or its insurance carrier will not be liable for the payment of Worker’s Compensation benefits for any injury which arises out of an employee’s voluntary participation in any off-duty recreational, social or athletic event which is not a part of the employees work related duties.
