I’m very excited about this weeks challenge. In my 10 years of working in the entertainment department with six flags I have experienced so many amazing memories and it’s hard for me to choose just one. There has been looney Tunes, Kids Club, Kids Karaoke, Justice League, Perfect Six or my many stilt characters I have portrayed. Then there is the technical experience I have gained as well....I have to throw this waaay back to 2010 my first summer working at the park...Mister Six! Opening ceremonies, parades, driving around the little Mister Six car And breaking out in dance parties, 2010 was definitely my most memorable summer!

These are two photos that were taken on Deja's Vu's last day of operation. Deja Vu has a special place in my heart with all the memories that were created there. Before I hired into the park I was terrified of riding roller coasters and I would come to the park to enjoy the other great aspects of it. When I did hire into the park in 2011, Deja Vu was one of the first rides I worked at and became a certified operator. My was able to get me on the ride and it was the very first roller coaster I had ridden then led me to build the courage to start riding all the rides in the park. The crew at Deja Vu was small but we were like a mini family. I remember the long nights from Grad Nite, Private Parties and Fright Fest. I remember getting strange looks from taller guests as I asked to height check them as riders could not be taller than 77 inches tall to ride. October 16, 2011 was the final day of operation and I built up the courage to ride one last time before it went away. Even tho the ride is not physically there anymore all the memories still remain. Even waking the queue for Aftermath brings back memories.

Here are 2 pics from back in the day. The one of Dorian and is from 2001 when I was an Area Foreman and the one of Amanda and I was in 2002 when I was a lead in Area 1
Laurie - Ticket Office
Working in the Ticket Office/Accounting is always a thrill. I have so many great memories that I would like to share but this one I thought was the best! One morning returning to work after being on vacation I walked into my office and look who took over my desk! Bugs Bunny! Bugs was always there to help out when anyone in the office was on vacation or out sick. He would make his rounds in the office and would always greet you on your return at your desk. I really miss all my silly peeps in the office and I hope to see Bugs back at my desk when I return

Here is my favorite throwback. A crew of Ride OPS team members from SFMM were sent to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, Ca to help out their OPS team for a final week of operation. We were able to learn how different they operated their park, make new friends and connections, and we got to have an up close encounter with their dolphins which was truly amazing. Its about the Six Flags family, helping each other out when we can. Truly one of the best experiences I've had at Six Flags! Ive included 2 pictures of this and you can use the one you would like. Thanks for the fun in these trying times.
This is Scarlette and I dancing for a TikTok during our break. We were bored and were talking about TikTok and decided to do the Renegade. It was so fun and our friends at work thought we were crazy. We kinda are to be honest :)
Lorene- Operations Senior Supervisor
This was taken in June of 2002 in the Log Jammer station by a TMA from Thailand. She wanted to take pictures of all of her Supervisors and Leads to go with her letters of work experience she was bringing home to turn in to her professor "at university". I learned from this group that "Key" is a bad word in Thai and would result in them gigging every time one of them was asked if they had the "Keys" or picked up the "Keys" for the ride.
Yup, I wore contacts back than, so no cap or pony tail. Anyone that really knows me realizes pretty quickly that I prefer to be behind the lens not in front of it.

This was taken back in 2012. As you can see, I am wearing the bright yellow shirt. What a throwback! This was my first day of work at my first job, and my senior year of High School. The night before my first shift, I accidentally broke my phone, so I had to take my selfie on my iPod. My first paycheck was spent on buying myself a new cellphone. Such great memories!

It was Dodger t-Shirt day because the Dodgers were in the World Series! October 2017.

I found this rare picture with my brother actually smiling! This was taken at one of our many famous harbor BBQ's when I first transferred into HR back in 2016. For some reason, I wanted to have two pens on my polo just in case I misplaced one. Great times with friends and family make for the best experiences!

The day I got hired, The best day of my life!!
Tyler - Hurricane Harbor
Throw back to some Harbor Mems. It would be cool to be a finalist just so my coworkers can see these pictures. I know everyone was so sad when we were told officially that Harbor wasn’t going to open at all this year. Definitely miss it.
Maria Tello- Parking Lot
Best throw back is going to the park with my son and able to ride the coasters again and also getting awards with my coworkers to celebrate our accomplishments at the park
Anna Goetz- Entertainment
One of my most favorite times of the year is Holiday in the Park! Working the firepit was a challenge sometimes, but seeing people's faces light up as they enjoyed their smores and even the great conversations I had with people warming themselves made it all worth it. Gabe, my fellow entertainment employee was also a demon in my area for Fright Fest, he was one of my favorite firepit buddies!
Evie- Human Resources
There are so many wonderful memories to chose from during these last eight years here at Magic Mountain. I have formed long lasting friendships, acquired critical life skills and grown so much as a person. Here are some, of a plethora of favorite moments. - My first Red Dot given to me by Jamel for cycling planes in a deserted Bugs Bunny World. It made me so happy. - Moving up to Goliath, a big ride, where I met my future love, Robert. - Bowling nights with my team. Such fun for everyone. - Hiring events for Fright Fest. A well met challenge every year. - But the one ALL time favorite memory of mine was and still is decorating the office for Christmas and Hanukkah. And then playing Secret Santa, while enjoying some yummy home made food. It brings all of us together. Strolling back from memory lane, Evie
This is me as Santa's right-hand elf, Shimmer, during Holiday in the Park last year!
The photographer caught this adorable photo of me talking to one of the twin girls who kept coming back to see me and Santa that evening. She's explaining in tremendous detail all of her favorite parts of "Frozen 2"!
Looking forward to HIP again when I'm well enough to be more sprightly.

The good ole days in parking lot. I remember seeing this photo on a coaster vlog website and it said how busy it was and it was great to see a supervisor out there. Good times getting cars parked and into the park for guests to enjoy their day. The lot will always hold a special place in my heart.

July 4th, 2019, Every day is Independence Day but this is the one day we can wear it at work.
