NEW - UKG FUNTime


​Welcome to the NEW UKG FUNTime Instructions Page:

​Six Flags Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor uses the NEW UKG FUNTime for Employees to be able to check their Schedules, Timecards, Time Off Requests, etc.​

First Time Signing In:
Username: (NEW 7-Digit EID Number)
Password: fuNYYYYMMDD%sfp 
  • Replace YYYY with your 4-digit birth year, MM with your 2-digit birth month, & DD with your 2 digit birthday*
  • Example Birthdate: April 27th 1998 = 19980427
  • Full Password Example: fuN19980427%sfp
Create New Password: New password must meet the following requirements:
  • At least 12 characters
  • Lower case letters
  • Upper case letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters
  • No more than 2 identical characters in a row
  • No more than 3 sequential characters in a row

Helpful Instructions with UKG FUNTime:​ 

Call off for scheduled shift
  • Open the UKG Pro app on your phone.
  • From the home screen, tap My Time Off.
  • Select Time Off Request.
  • Choose Call Off for Today’s Shift.
  • Select Today’s Date.
  • Tap Apply.
  • (Optional) Add a comment if needed.
  • Tap Submit to send your request.
*Infractions will be automatically accrued for calling out for your shift, No call No shows or arriving late to a scheduled shift. Please reference the attendance policy for additional information regarding submitting documentation to the Safety Office to request infractions be excused. 
Request time off
  • Open the UKG Pro app and tap My Time Off on the home screen.
  • Select Time Off Request.
  • Choose the request type that best applies to your situation.
  • Submit your request.
    • You may see a “Quota” warning during submission. If this occurs, you may select Submit Anyway for your request to be reviewed.
  • Ensure your request is submitted at least 3 weeks in advance of the requested date.
  • Please note that time‑off requests are not guaranteed until fully approved.
  • You will receive a notification in UKG once your request is approved or denied.
Shift Swap (Trade Shift)
  • Open the UKG Pro app and tap Manage My Schedule on the home screen.
  • Select Swap My Shift.
  • Use the calendar to choose the shift you would like to swap.
  • Search for and select an associate you would like to request the shift swap with.
  • Submit your request.
  • Once another associate agrees and the request is reviewed and approved by the scheduling team or leadership, the shift will be updated on your schedule.
Important: You are responsible for your scheduled shift until the swap request is fully approved.
Request an "Open Shift" (Pick Up Extra Hours)
  • Open the UKG Pro app and tap Manage My Schedule on the home screen.
  • Select Pick Up an Open Shift.
  • Use the calendar to find a shift you are interested in.
    • If the shift overlaps with your current schedule, you may request a partial shift, if available.
  • Submit your request.
    • Your request will be sent to the scheduling team and leadership for review.
    • You will receive a notification once it has been reviewed.
    • If approved, the shift will appear on your schedule.
  • If you are no longer able to work a requested shift, you must cancel the request before it is approved. Once approved, you are responsible for working that shift.
  • If your request is invalidated, the shift you requested is no longer available.
Request to "Cover my SHift" (Find Someone to Take Shift)
  • Open the UKG Pro app and tap Manage My Schedule on the home screen.
  • Select Cover My Shift.
  • Use the calendar to choose the shift you would like covered.
    • You may request coverage for a full shift or a partial shift.
  • Choose how you would like to offer the shift:
    • Select an individual associate, or
    • Offer it to your entire department on the trade board.
  • Submit your request.
Once someone agrees to cover the shift, the request will be reviewed by the scheduling or management team to confirm eligibility.
  • If the request is approved:
    • The shift will be removed from your schedule, and
    • You will no longer be responsible for that shift.
  • If the request is rejected or invalidated:
    • The shift will remain on your schedule, and
    • You must call out on the day of the shift if you are unable to work it.
