3-14-2023 Park Announcement
Team Magic,
The State of California and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health have updated their COVID-19 regulations effective 3.13.23. There are 2 major changes to the Health Officer’s Order:
• A COVID-19 positive person may leave isolation after Day 5 as long as they have been fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever reducing medicines) AND they either have no symptoms or their symptoms are mild and improving. A negative COVID-19 test is no longer required to leave isolation between Day 6-10. (LAC DPH strongly recommends that persons test negative prior to leaving isolation between Day 6-10).
• A COVID-19 positive person shall wear a well-fitting mask around others through Day 10. They may discontinue wearing a mask around others between Day 6-Day 10 if they have had two sequential negative COVID-19 tests taken at least one day apart.
As another reminder it is important that you call First Aid (661) 255-4567 and not show up to work unless you are told otherwise by First Aid if you have any recent exposures to someone that is positive, test positive or have any new symptoms including but not limited to:
· Cough
· Fever
· Sore throat
· Loss of taste or smell
· Headaches
· Shortness of breath
· General weakness
· Body aches
Additionally First Aid does not issue, remove or alter any attendance points. If you have questions about attendance points or use of paid time-off in relation to COVID-19, please contact ESO at (661) 255-5903.
